if my car is not driven for a day atm while its cold it takes a little bit longer to turn over and kind of sounds like the starter motor is sticking but obviously it isnt as the car starts every time all be it a few seconds later on.

does anyone have any ideas? would spraying the starter motor with wd40?

The coil light has started staying on a bit longer on mine recently too. It's to be expected with the colder temperatures. Still a lot less time than my Focus TDCI took to start!

mine was taking ages to start like 20-30 seconds but i had a look last night and my lead on my starter motor was loose so hopefully that will sort the problem
