Featured Replies

Bout an hour drive from me mate so may take you up on that when funds allow, im booked in for coilovers next week so aint got much at the monent lol

I would like to point out that the 3 door golf seats won't fit a 5 door , the front seat upright are hinged differently with a catch on the side of the seat.( I know I purchased a 3 door set by mistake).

Has anyone got some images of how to secure the rear uprights I can't quite work out how to install them stopping them fall forward.

3 door mk4 seats will wif in a 5 door mk4. I dont know about the fabia. I had s3 recaros in my leon

So if i brought some seat leon cupra r seats they would fit if i swapped bases?

fronts - yes

rears - would probably need more work (as per all other swaps from bigger platforms)

More work as in? Is it something i could do my self or do i need anything made up? If that makes sense?

By more work howd you mean is it difficult or...

shows my entire swap in detail

basically the foam/back rest of the front seats should fit/bolt on to the subframe of your Fabia seats and go straight in

The foam and material from the rear seats won't.

the larger back rest is about 2 inches too wide.

it can be "fudged to fit" or it can be properly upholstered like I did

If you get electric Cupra seats (which I think most/all are?), then you'll need to remove the inner motor from the back rest, and get the plate off the fabia recliner bar welded onto the Cupra bar to make them manually adjustable. Or find some manual Leon seats you can pinch the bar from.
