Hey all,

I got my Monte (candy white, 1.6 tdi 105) on 02/11/2012 and LOVE it! I just saw that you can get black rather than green and sliver skoda badges, I have a few questions from all you experienced Skoda owners out there seeing as i am a newbie:

1. What do people think of the black rather than green badge?

2. How do you get them?

3. Are they easy to fit?

Also two other questions:

Lights

Running lights, is it worth doing the small tweak to get them to work?

Can you programme the fogs to come on when turning (i.e. right turn right fog) for additional/directional light? Is this worth it if you can?

Winter wheels

what is the best price for the monte?

What is the average cost?

Grateful for any assistance that is out there guys.

Do you mean the DRLs. If so the switch to turn them on is in the fuse box under the steering wheel.

He means the new badge like on the citygo/rapid

Cornering fogs can be programmed via VCDS on the Montecarlo

They are ready there to be programmed but they dont at the factory

You can get the new black/silver WHEEL CENTRE badges from Skoda,I've fitted them to my new vRS and they go really well with the black/white colour scheme and black wheels.

The front and rear black/silver badges from the Citigo are more of a problem,I've been told that they are slightly the wrong size and don't look right.

I will look to programme the cornering fogs and the fuse box change for the DRLs I can do i reckon as I just looked that up in the user manual.

I like the idea of the ones for the wheels especially with the white/black combination that I have.

Yes,they are the ones, same pattern for the wheel ones.

That one on the back looks OK in the picture,but you would need to see it close up to see if it fits neatly in the bodywork recess.

Yep I think I agree with you, and am now starting to think that the badge is not quite a good at the one that is on there now and am also worried that the fit would notk be spot on, but for the wheels I think it will work.
