As some of you may have seen in my progress thread the front bush failed on my THS dog bone mount (after 6 months may I add) so I am replacing the whole lot (front and back) with super pro bushes. The rear is no problem, but the front bush I'm a little confused about. So far I have removed the outer support bracket from the front of the mount (held in by damaged bush.) I have removed the remainder of the damaged bush from the mount and have cleaned up the bar which fits inside the bush on the support bracket. The bushes arrived today and what you get is 1 x bush, 2 x washers, 1 x crush bar & 1 x tube of grease. I've read the instructions fully but for the life of me I can't work out where the crush bar goes because surely once the bush is fitted in to the dog bone the bar attached to the support bracket fits into the bush all though the instructions say to fit the crush bar in there. Any help on this would be great.

hey Howard, did you get this sorted, sorry missed this post, yes the bush fills the space inside the bush, the crush bar goes through to locate and stop the bush deforming under movement, see pic here to see kinda where it would go http://www.pimpmyskoda.co.uk/V2Images/ModsSuspension/DSC02040.JPG, hth

This is how I did it in the end, I cleaned up and refitted the original outer support bracket. Hopefully this should be ok.
