does anybody have some idea of cost to replace the crankshaft sensor which is in the gearbox on a 1.9 tdi skoda bxe engine

part is about £65

labour i think is about 2 hrs

Where exactly is the Crankshaft sensor located on the Skoda Octivia 2001 1.6 petrol

A photo too would be a big help

On the 1.6 it's on the front of the engine block on the right hand side near where the block meets the sump, it as a short cable attached to it and the plug is clipped into a metal bracket under the intake manifold..
