so just an idea as i dont want the car off the road when i paint up the manifold and rocker cover so was considering buying them second hand painting and just swapping over and selling mine

Then i thought im fitting a front mount intercooler one of the cheaper ones that has the pipe that goes over the top of the engine, im not a big fan of this so could buy a BAM manifold then i could run the pipe from the turbo down the original bottom side of the engine

So basically if this is all im doing it for and not power gains what would i need? I can use the same injectors, intake flap motor and fuel rail, right?

you are talking about the vrs right ? little unclear but sounds like the vrs

You need

Bam Manifold

Manifold support bracket and bolts

Shorter bolt for where old support bracket was (behind alternator)

Bam fuel rail as original won't fit

Brake vac hose from manifold to servo and a blank for intake pipe as you do away with it

Manifold gasket

Length of 8mm fuel hose or the like and 2 joiners to extend a coolent hose over manifold to resivoir

Length of vac hose to extend fuel pressure reg and dump valve

Roll of insurlation tape and wire protector stuff for when you've finished moving boost pressure sensor and throttle unit wiring over to other side (don't need to cut any wires it will just open up and fold back as it all comes from battery side anyway),

Forge boost sensor holder pipe as original is fitted into intercooler

Think thats about it, not that difficult really just takes abit of time, i also have no sai/n112 or N249 valves either so that made my life alittle easier

I do have alot of part numbers somewhere i'll dig them out when i get abit more time

Hmm thanks volvomeg! I found a full set up manifold, injectors, fuel rail and intake flap motor for £150 i will have a full look into it tomorrow as its my one day off doing nothing for once! Haha

this is the only bit thats sort of putting me off as for pricing

Don't need injectors they will just swop over, its just the rail as it fouls where pipe fit onto it

Hmm may still be possible then just need to find a fuel rail separate from injectors second hand

What do you mean by Blank for intake pipe (sorry for the dumb questions just want it to be right)

and if i was to delete the SAI and others is there anything on that list that i wont need?

Just found a fuel rail on ebay £25 this could happen
