Featured Replies

I am thinking of buying a brand new one, good idea or bad idea? ive never owned a Skoda before looking for some honest opinions, i like autos and need a decent size estate.... would love some advice! Cheers Matt :)

Go for it you won't be disappointed. Had my vRS for ten months now and still puts a smile on my face everyday.

Personally I went for the manual box so can't comment on the dsg sorry, but whatever you choose I'm sure you will be happy with it.

I know of one that's not been registered yet, a sale fell through so its still with the dealer, i asked about the superb first and he offered me this, the dealer will hold it for me until march so i can have it on a 13 plate also :D

Well that a good deal. Very good find. Good look with it you wont turn back.

Why would you want to hold on until the 2013 plate, they'll be rolling out the new model at that time!

It's already been sitting in a compound in Belgium for 6 months, it'll be nearly 12 months old by the time you pick it up.

Great car but really don't see the 'I want a brand new plate' theory. Each to their own I guess but sounds like you should have bought a BMW!!

Do it, you won't regret it. Wouldn't have the black wheels though...

Griffo, i cant sell my current car until Jan do to tax laws (I will be purchasing it tax free), i figured there's no point owning 2 cars at the same time, thought i might as well until march instead of having it as a 62 plate.

Do you know of another model coming out? If you do im all ears :)

Thousands of cars sit in depots and ports for months on end, its when its registered thats the important thing, if for example you bought a "brand new" Jaguar XF its actually been built for about 12 months.... i know as my mate works in the plant in liverpool...

In answer to your earlier question, the Octavia is supposed to be being completely revamped early-mid next year and probably hence the discounted blacklines.

If you pick up on March 1st you may be driving away alongside a new model vRS! Your great value car may have already lost several thousands. Not a problem for me as I picked up in October and can enjoy the uniqueness for 6 months before I run it for a further 10 years with the new model, but you may have a different outlook.

Im planning to buy it to keep it.. so i dont mind :)

I'm sure it will be worth the wait, fabulous car....

Hi and welcome aboard.

We can promise you that you won't be disappointed.

Doubt that the new vRS will be out that early.

Brilliant car, nothing to touch it for the money- If you don't buy it someone else will (quickly I would guess) as there's been no more blacklines available direct from skoda for about a month now and many have already been dissappointed trying to order one only to be told they were all spoken for, so if you want it grab it! You'll have the only 13 plate Blackline, which could be troublesome if you're a naughty boy..... :giggle:

Had my Blackline for three weeks now and love it.Puts a smile on my face every time i get behind the wheel, love it.....
