skoda radio

Featured Replies

Hi guys new to the group trying to get some advice iv got a skoda fabia 1.9 sdi 2001 i think its the saloon body but it has tape player as standerd im trying to get some advice on how to go about changeing this as all the skoda orginal cd players are as expensive as a resonable aftermarket one. The problem i have is i want to fit my old hands free back in from my last car as it was only 6 mounths old

what would others do put an orignal cd player back or an aftermarket ?

Aftermarket. You'll get much better sound quality with one too. Depending on the HU, it'll be a straight swap too, there's just a small, cheap (£3ish) piece of trim needed to go above the radio.

You'll get a much better response if you ask here too: http://www.briskoda.net/forums/forum/26-skoda-fabia-i/

What hand-free is it? (Not that I know anything about them!) Alternately, it could be cheaper/as well off to buy an HU with hands-free built in and sell your kit if it's not compatible.
