I've bagged another Octy 2 VRS CR TDi

One of the last MK2 VRS's shipped to UK - SWMBO kids and I can't wait as we missed the power and handling of our past 2 VRS's

Is it a Blackline then or just one of the last vrs's? What colour you gone for spec etc.

Nope the Blacklines went ages ago

just using up stock at "Port of Exit"

We are a VRS family and didn't want to wait ages and ages for a vrs octy 3 or a vrs Rapid

You can't spec anything just have to take what's left

Race Blue hatch CR - and I'm going to give DSG a try - extras are bluetooth, rear parking sensors, Onyx sports seats with red stitching and they're heated

Well I wanted "RB" back in Summer 2008 but was overuled by SWMBO

Well its odd because Candy white was my favorite colour after i got a bit bored of my Red VRS and nealy purchased a white Audi A5. However the missis twisted my arm and coerced me into getting Race Blue Blackline even though i wanted the white one, and i wasn't sure about the colour especially with the black wheels. However after a few weeks of cleaning it I have come to love the colour and well pleased with it and now think we made the right choice.

Sounds like you got exactly same spec as me. Hopefully get mine this week.

Looks like you got there in the end then! welcome back we need more vRS owners (especially in RB!) as we seem to do most of the posting

Could you let me know what u think of DSG please as I went for the manual option so would be interested t hear what you think of it compared to the manual CRs you've had in the past
