Wheel Refurb, What to do with center caps?

Featured Replies

I've been meaning to get my alloys powder coated bright white for a while now.... But the only thing putting me off is the center caps!

The guy said he didnt think they could power coat them and the same shade of white isnt available as a paint or whatever....

what are my options? carbon wrap for example..? might look poo.

My wheels and center caps are currently the standard silver, heres a picture from google with the exact same wheels as mine having the same problem with center caps.

Go without?

Go without?

The centre of the hub will be visible and look poo.

How about red but leave the seat logo silver.

Just a matt black finish on the caps?

Hmm, guess this is a possibility, spray them all black magic the same as the car?

Black car, white wheels and red center caps, might look abit out of place and look silly.

Doh, didn't read your post properly. I was paying more attention to the pictures.

Spray the caps black.

Seing that picture i posted with the red seat ibiza with nice fresh wheels is making me tempted to get the wheels properly refurbished to the original colours and get four brand new center caps from the dealers...

Occasionally centre caps pop up on eBay as a couple of mine have lacquer problems.

I can only see the one listed at the minute, only £2.99 though, and its new so price aint bad.

Would still bite the bullet and get 4 new ones from the dealers tho, shouldnt be more than £40 should it???

Try TPS rather than the dealer.

Try getting the centres sprayed to suit? To me the bolt cap bits shouldn't be white though. Either a dark or lurid colour.
