Where to buy parts online?

Featured Replies

Fairly simple, I'm after an exhaust pressure sensor for my PD Vrs. ideally I'd like a genuine article, but open to a good alternative. If anyone could help I would Kobe very grateful.

Cheers

If you want it online, try http://www.skodaparts.com - they should sort you out.

That's spot on Wardy, I wanted a cheaper simpler alternative than travelling 25 miles to my main dealer, thanks! I've just got to be careful not to order the wrong part now.

No worries. They're good, have used them quite a few times. I have a similar issue, as it's a special journey to get to a Skoda dealer from me. And even then it's not a particularly good one!

Their service is good, and delivery quick. They'll also be able to advise on correct part numbers etc, if required.

Sounds perfect. I'm in the same boat as you. Miles away from a main dealer and the drive is awful as is the knowledge when you get there. I'm waiting for a response regarding my suspected part from Shark before I order, so hopefully that doesn't take too long.

Thanks pal, I'll get a price from all of the above. :hi:

There is no aftermarket alternative for the pressure sensor, so it will have to be OEM. The replacement sensor also requires adaption as soon as its fitted, before you even start the engine, if you are unable to do this then it will require a dealer to fit and carryout the adaption. If you fit it and start the engine without adaption the car will never be able to correctly relearn how full the DPF is and you'll end up buying another sensor.

Ok, adaption means nothing to me!? Also, I don't have a DPF. Does that matter. Thanks for the heads up btw.
