Well my friend with the forge waste gate blue spring inside (now completely open) the engine is looking good . I've tried three Laps on it and I saw 2.2 pressure and the changes on the gears were all at 1.6!!! Few more of that and bye bye engine :-) As a result the mechatronic was not satisfied and I was on safe mode with no malfunction in other components . So completely open .......and Next step a program (custom) on the dsg in order to take full advantage of the dsg :-) ....

Hi, nacora

can you, please, provide more details on how you solve the issue with dsg?

i have also forge wg with blue spring installed and having same issues as you did - mechatronic malfunctions and safe modes on.  Dsg adaptation does not help, ie. it helps for a while, but after some launches it comes back to malfunctions.

my tuners are saying that i have to change the spring to yellow...

Well my friend I went to the experts. I've changed tuning house I went to TMG which are specialists on dsg7 (dq200) and I have no issues at all.

My next step is to improve the hardware of the dq200. :-)

As far as I know and also see with my eyes the upgraded clutch (dsg7. - dq200) until 2day could handle 550nm, but still more 2 come :-) (much aggressive set up I'd rather say)

In order to solve your question mechatronic unit (from factory) has some security measures so confronting to the ecu it's protecting it so this why u have safemodes. There are two solutions 1) go to your tuner and make it a little bit lower (high pressure etc) your psi but you will loose powa. 2) change tuning house that can handle such pressures, but also to handle if there are near you dsg7 specialists.. By the way yours specs ? Pressures ?

Your solution to change the spring is a temporary solution to work out but you will loose :-( and I don't know in high continuous rpms how the car will react.

Ps: dsg7 programmed+ upgraded clutch+ bc = the optimum result 4 drag :-)

Hi Nacora, can you post some more details and costs on the uprated clutch hardware.

There is a tuner in the North West of England called Autograph who have experience of the DQ200 and remapping the software to raise the limiters and extract quicker changes but I believe they ask for £500 for the software alone.

Would be nice to know what TMG would charge for their uprated hardware pack
