hi fab fans, need some advice about my 2011 fab 1.2 tsi. Would like to know how to adjust the handbrake, is it under the car adjustment, or in the cab? Could someone advise adjusting the handbrake as the lever is raising to far.

i think you will find it is inside and you remove the rear bit / cupholder behind the hand brake

i have an arm rest at the hand brake will this be in the way of the hb adjuster.

do you still have the little pot / cup holder for the rear passengers at the back of the handbrake / arm rest low down? if yes then you should be ok

I have a similar problem with a high handbrake lever as described above...despite my local Skoda dealer and an indy failing to remedy this problem I now have (courtesy of this forum) a solution.

Thank you all for solving this slight problem for me and in particular to irfant for such a good photograph of the adjustment mechanism.
