Lummox, could you estimate how much it would cost to fit vnt17 to my fabia tdi pd100 which involves fabricating new flange to attach exhaust too. is it as simple as that

Add to that remap, plus poss pd130 injectors.

Any idea would be great

I was told PD130 injectors used "different cam" in the block, so went the whole hog in the end. This fact put me off going for injectors alone. I would have thought a VNT17 would bolt straight on too. Matches at both ends dunnit?

Yes the cam is in the head along with the injectors. Are you sure you should be changing this engine..lol.

Well, I'm not the one doing it - just trying to get my head around why I was told pd130 injectors wouldn't work with pd100 cam, etc :confused:

Turbo seems easy enough though.

Yeah, that could be it. Wanted to try and clear this up before John fits anything to his engine which might jeopardise it.

Hi, I haven't seen the turbo so I have no idea if it will fit.

I got it sent directly to allard's.

Allard's are looking into injectors and the like and I hope to hear something from them latest early next week.
