alright...

ive been playing around with the thought of modding ma ma furby vrs of late.....

and tbh really really wanna get it done... so just wondering whos got what mods how much and where did they get it from plus what extra performance they got out of it ....thanking u

cheers :D:D

just got mine too! have put the PD160 inlet pipe on it, green panel filter and the cup holder mod!!!!

get a remao if you want stonking performance, or if you want an adequate power gain go for a tuning box.

If you try a search, you will find heaps and heaps of info ;)

PD160 intake + Green filter make it rev a lot more freely I must admit. Didnt think it would make such a difference. Less of a 'kick' when the turbo kicks in, in that it seems a little smoother but it keeps pulling in a useful fashion for much longer.

Took me about ten minutes to change the intake, the airfilter actually took me longer (as I struggled to get the darn thing back under it's plastic clip thingy, and I didnt have the right screwdriver for the job... My fault that).

If you go for the tuning box, and you wanna do it on the cheap, analog will work. It will smoke a lot more and it may cause you errors. The Cupra intake & green filter will help a bit but it's gonna be overfuelling sometimes.

Digital tuning box - massive step-up in price, but also performance is getting praised by a lot of peeps over here who have one. As boost isnt impacted your turbo won't get the kicking a remap would do, and temperatures will remain lower.

Remap will boost turbo and effectively combine with what the digi tuning box would do to push both fuelling and boost up. Side-effects of that are more heat and possible heatsoak in the summer.

I'm definitely NOT going to go remap/tuning box for now as I cannot afford the insurance changes at the moment. The rest is fine though as it was free (for my policy, declare & check your T&Cs).

If you go the remap route you may want a FMIC or at least do the TT Vent mod (or the cheaper version thereof, slice some gaps out).

FMIC
go on, what's that stand for? :)

FMIC = Front Mounted InterCooler
