speaker issue

Featured Replies

Thats quiet a good idea didn't know they did kits like that,

am guessing there like the rear speakers with the double plug with 4 wires, 2 of the wires come from headunit and other 2 go to tweeter in rear door or bottom of a pillar near mirror on front,

Just make sure its plugged onto right 2 wires that come from headunit but apart from that carn't see why they won't work

Yeah they are two plugs there with two wires going to each of them, plugged the adapter lead into the connection but no joy speakers not working swapped the plugs around and then plugged in but still no joy.

Really frustrated.

Maybe I bought the wrong speaker lead adapters? Not sure or do the wires require modification?

Do they have a seperate crossover that you wire into first then go to speakers or do they just plug onto back of speakers themselves

Nope no seperate crossover.

You should only need one of the 2 plugs plugged in then as you you don't need the wire that runs upto the tweeter as it will be one of the outputs on the crossover,

One plug plugged into headunit input then to crossover and each speaker wired into correct position on crossover,

you could try wire tweeter tempory onto standard plug to see which plug you get sound from, just push the wires from it into connector
