how does your fabia sit (which springs)

Featured Replies

hi peeps new to the forum , have just got myself a bog standard fabia vrs . im not a fan of coilovers so am going down the springs route. ive had and sworn by eibachs for years but seems they only do 25mm id like a 40mm drop to help the look of the car .

has anyone pics and suggestions as to what springs to go for ? wietec or h&r or is there any alternative you lovely people can suggest . ride is equally important to looks

thanks in advance

I used to have eibachs with Koni dampers, I think the h&r's are better but only lower it 20mm.

Have to say if your doing it for looks you have no choice but to get coilovers.

As I said I had eibach springs with Koni dampers very nice setup, but was just not low enough!

I would recommend wietec coilovers, I went for AP's (same as wietecs) but have a softer springs.

Mine sits like a range rover on standard springs. :D

I have a Koni's & Eibachs which I think have lowered it by more than 25mm, albeit slightly. The ride height looks as it should do IMO, not high like standard and not low.

For the cost though I cannot recommend them, unless you find them used.

If you are going to go down the spring route I would recommend upgraded dampers to match.

Also if you want to improve handling a RARB is a must!

Loved my Eibach springs, but sat way too high.

and spending all that money you might aswell get coilovers and can have what ever hieght you like.

Yup as above, i bought alex_fabias eibach n koni combo. Ride is really good but looks how it should have come out of the factory. LCR splitter helps. Standard is just stupid high. If you want big lows its gotta be coilies...

+1

also can i ask why your not a fan of coilovers? i would always go coilovers over springs and dampers now from my past cars they are better all round.

Or bag it

Mine is 30mm on koni str.t'sIMAG0356.jpg
