Loved my aps, they are all the way on the rear but adjusters still in and ran about 6 threads from the bottom on the front but scrapped everywhere underneath so they are about 12 threads now. Ride quality is about the same as standard setup down a bumpy road but no roll around bends its great. Cant comment on kw v1s though, but i was going to go for them but heard they are the same kit from the same factory, so whent for the cheaper option as was on a budget.

I`v got the KW`s which are great, ran them mega low when I had Porsche wheels, ride was still pretty tidy now raised them up a bit with 17`s. Got no cups in the back. No complaints, felt 10x better than my old eibach coilovers.

i bought a set of kw's second hand, they wer on there about 2 months and a terrible crunching noise started, thort it was a steering rack, so i put a new rack on there still the same. so iput standard shocks back on now its perfect again. i shall be going with ap's next.

I'm on KW's decked on the rear and up a little on the front... They're pretty comfortable tbh, compared with my mates FK's and another's AP's, they aren't half as crashy and seem to hold on well during spirited driving ;)

KWs are not the same as APs

They are just made by the same company (KW)..

They dont use the same components. Different shocks and different springs and different shocker rates etc..

KWs are better quality than AP and the ride is better.. and alot less harsh.

But there is quite a price difference tho...

APs are alot better than FKs/ racelands/ JOMs (which are all the same)... and alot of people on here run them and rate them highly but they are hard. A good midrange coilover.

KWs are better than APs in the comfort department + if u get the inox ones they last longer but they are dearer..

Hope this helps ;)

Thats what happens when you buy 2nd hand

Kw own ap and ap are its budget range

Kw's are leagues ahead of ap's ;)

i no il learn from it, never buy second hand again

As mentioned AP are actually owned and made by KW and basically KW's starter range.

If budget allowed I'd personally go for the KW kit every time.

Let me know if you need any info or prices.
