Right i have just spent around an hour searching for an answer and have hit the point where i need someone to tell me lol

I have just bought a set of staggered BMW wheels.

They are ET41 7 1/2 J and 8 1/2 J.

My question is what tyres do i need to be running and also what size hub adaptors do i need. I have found 20mm all the way up.

I have these fitted to mine .. see my build thread.

I have

5x100 - 5x120 20mm all round adapters

Or u can use 15mm depends what look you want.

Do u want stretched tyres?

I have 195/40 tyres stretched on the 8.5 rears

And 185/35 stretched on the 7.5 fronts.

If u dont want stretch then get 195/40 on the front (very mild stretch)

And 205/40 on the rears..

I had these tyres on originally ^^ but i found they were catching.. but i doubt u will be running anywhere near as low as me lol

I wont be running mega low on front and rear as need to get into some weird areas! lol!!

If i run 20mm on the rear as well will the wheel be out of the arch?

Im deffo going for the wide look and will run but wont be running much stretch!

That pic is of the 8.5j rears.. they dont come in 9j fitment

15mm will be fine.. £150 for a full set on ebay they are "kei"

I got 20mm because H&R dont do less than 20mm and they have steel inserts for the thread so less chance of coming loose ..

Iv got a pic of my non staggered (7.5j all round) winter set at ride height.. still pretty low lol but not "aired out"

And at the bottom of this page is phils old fabia on non staggered 7.5Js on 15mm adapters with 5mm spacers on the rear (so 20mm) running 205/40 rear + 195/40 front tyres

His wasnt anywhere near as low as mine so gives u a better impression

Theres only 2 people that i know of who have put them on.. me... and phil (pip_polo)... if u look in the link of my last post ull see his red vrs with rc041s red centres n polished lips

I had an email address for a Czech company who would do custom aluminum adapters down to 15mm with steel inserts for about 170quid a set. Still have my staggered rc 41s freshly refurbed with black centres and polished lips that I haven't got round to fitting. Will probably just sell them as I like the spiders now they're refurbed.

They are 100% BBS m8 ... stamped all over them lol

They like most bbs were made for manufacturers these were for BMW hense the 5x120 fitment..

Note the big BBS stamp ^^^^^

My bad lol.. assumed they were bmw bbs rc041/042s because of the widths + offsets..
