Hi

If I want to replace my throttle body, does it have to be the exact part number?

My current part number is 036133062M and I can get a one with the same part number but ending in an N.

Would this be ok?

My fabia is a 1.4 16v 2005 ambiente. I think the replacement part is from a 2005 1.2. Both petrol.

Hi

Have now managed to get a throttle body with the same part number from a 1.4 polo. Hope this sorts the problem.

A very late update but just to confirm that have had no issues since replacing the throttle body.  Revs are now stable when idling in traffic and the car no longer cuts out.
