ice

Featured Replies

how is every one doing the the icy and snowy conditions we have been having i myself have only slid once down a hill, and earlier on today whilst coming back from my school contract going up in Linlithgow a lorry passed me in the opposite direction going very fast and then i heard a loud bang was just about to pull into a lay by when the cooling warning light came on so i looked around the car, no damage i opened the bonnet to find two massive holes in the radiator so lorry must have chucked some ice through the grill and pierced it so drove back to my local garage about another 10 miles away the temp gauge stayed in the middle thankfully and they fitted a new radiator for £130 thank god it didn't hit a window or could have been another story

Skidded around the works carpark this afternoon. Hopefuly I'll be getting some winter tyres tommorow.

i went off to work this morning at 4am through shilton village, theres a lovely ford at the bottom of the hill,i nearly ended up floating in it.luckily i managed to avoid the ford.i used the gears to slow me down going down the hill when the brakes locked up and i started going a bit sideways!! i knew it was icy,so went real steady you know.some people tank it down there too!!!
