dial coding

Featured Replies

I have been suffering with dash backlight issues and looking at wiring diagrams it could be down to a faulty solder joint in the dials. Does anyone know anyone able to code new ones in without having to go to skoda and take it in the arse as payment? preferably in the buckinghamshire, hertfordshire, oxfordshire area anyone able to sudgest someone would be much appreciated

Probably worth taking the dash cluster out & reseating the connectors on the back. There's a post on the forum somewhere about dry solder joints in the dash, but that problem normally causes some of the guages to not work properly.

i have lost all back lighting no it isnt a can bus fault as when hazards are switched on the indicator lights flash on the cluster

Shark can remove the imobilizer from a dash, might be worth giving them a call
