post-97922-0-12958900-1354968201_thumb.jpgHi All,

Had a browse and thought must take a more active part. My Octavia has ended up in a salvage yard after my wife rearranged the front. It is declared 'Beyond Economic Repair', but the damage is so light I will be retaining the car and either selling it on to an enthusiast friend or repairing it myself to use until my new Yeti is delivered in March.

I had the car from new in 2002 and had done 144,000 miles. Regularly serviced using fully synthetic oil, it still had the factory fitted exhaust.

The vehicle confirmed my belief that Skoda were well made and reliable since joining VAG.

Cheers,

Rob

Hi and welcome aboard.

I had the same situation where my wife did the same but decided to get a new one instead.
