Ok, I had my grill off and it started pouring it down with rain... In my wisdom I sellotape bin bags over the gap...

When I took the sellotape off it left soo much sticky residue, so in I used white spirit diluted with water on a sponge, it appears as if I scrubed too hard in places and it has left parts of my bonnet slighty white clouded...

Can anything be done, would black wax help?

Black wax, on the 'clouded' area's I garantee it will be as good as new, trust me

My mate had exactly the same on his black car where he had 'clouded' various area's with white spirits, afterwoods you would never know
