Activesync GRRRR

Featured Replies

Hi All

I've just got a new Windows PPC 2003/smartphone - MDA Compact aka O2 XDA Mini

I've just today bought a nice 512Mb storage card and would like to set-up activesync so that I can sync directly to/from a folder on my card - i.e. have a folder on the PC I could copy large files to and sync directly to the SD card (having only 64Mb memory on the phone means I can't move large files). I am sure I have set-up my (now defunct and palmed off onto SWMBO :D ) PDA in this way - but now I haven't a clue how I did that   :o

Basically I can't add a folder on my storage card into the list of synchronisable things in activesync, having tried both on the phone and on my PC - can anyone help please?

Try with THIS beta build of Activesync 4

please be aware, it is a beta, if you want to go back to a old version youll need to uninstall and delete the active sync directory in program files

 Just realised that I can copy files direct to the card - Activesync > Explore then do everything on the PC. Not quite as useful as sync'ing but at least it gets my mp3's on the card
