IE10 - Forum problems

Featured Replies

Hello,

When on my new laptop running Windows 8 and IE10 and using forums, when trying to reply to any topics or messages, the Enter/Return button doesn't respond when I want to create a new line. I have tried pressing Shift+Return to no avail, and was wondering if anyone else had this problem and what could be done to sort this out.

Thanks for any help guys!

Just tried it myself using the desktop version (can't see the Metro one). Anyway, I have the same issue as you!

Also tried to the use one of the BMW forums which uses the same backend/software as this does and had the same issue.

FWIW, I use Chrome and don't have that issue. You could always use < / b r > to insert new lines I guess, but not the easiest option. Maybe not!

This was posted from Win 8/IE 10 for desktop.

Using to insert new lines. *Edit* Does anything work?

I think the easiest way to sort it will to be go back to Firefox again on the new computer, was never really a fan of IE, and didnt like using it in the Metro form, I always used the internet from the desktop.

Yup suspect win 8 and IE10 will be an issue.

There is an update pending, just need to schedule it in as it's a version bump, could be lots to break... Equally it should just work, I've been there, had the overtime t-shirt ;)
