My Progress So Far

Featured Replies

Hi all, thought I'd do a thread to show what I have and what I have done to my car since I've had it.

Well I got the car on 1/10/12 from Ossett.

Car is a vRS SE, it had 62k with Full Dealer Service History. It also had a very recent bill for the Belts and Water Pump which was also done at the dealers to a cost of near £800 iirc.

The car came with the usual SE extras but other than that was completely standard.

First Mod I did was buy a footrest from eBay. Please excuse the dirty mat and pedals.

Next up I bought a set of Team Heko Wind Deflectors, again from eBay.

Next thing I wanted to change was the Rear Badge. I noticed before I bought it that it had some white marks under the top coat. So I bought a new one from The Skoda Shop. Whilst I was browsing I noticed they had an offer on the Headlight Protectors, so I ordered up some of those too.

New Badge (didn't get a pic of the old one)

Next up I detangoed the Headlights and Tail lights.

I bought a Seat Sport Front Strut Brace for £48. I had originally wanted it gloss black but it got sprayed Race Blue as they forgot. So I thought I'd put it on and see how it goes. And I'm pleased to say I love it.

Whilst I was tarting up the engine bay I ordered some of the Black Coolant and Washer bottle caps (thanks to Adam aka Brads).

The latest thing I have done is the PD160 intake mod. I bought it from L33 LHO, thanks mate.

That's all for now.

I will be trying to stay as OEM as I can. There will be no ICE mods just Styling to start and then Performance.

Future Plans:

Decat

Elephant Trunk Mod

EGR Delete

15" Compomotive TH & Tyres

Remap

Cupra Splitter

Armrest

Rubber Boot Liner

Cup Holder (stereo)

Like what you've done so far. The strut brace and caps finish off the engine bay nicely. Future plans sound good. Why are you going for smaller wheels?

Looking good mate! Plans sound good!

15'' wheels?

I just like the style of wheel tbh. The dark silver colour would looks great against the blue.

Also will look great when I get some coileys on.

You would have to go so low to get 15" wheels sitting right. I'm running standard wheels and my coilovers don't go low enough IMO.

Can you not get them wheels in 16s or 17s?

15s are just a little too small

In unsure if you can get the same wheels in those sizes tbh. Ill have a look around and see. I know what you mean but I really love these wheels and would go smaller if I had to.

The strut brace in race blue looks really good. That's a good **** up!

They have a few different types on their website :)

There were 8x17'' TH's for sale on here not so long ago, very rare in that size

Did you get the headlight protectors from Skoda? If so how much were they?

looks good pal!!! not far from me either!

very nice, all very tasteful
