Remap query

Featured Replies

I realise this may be a dodgy question to ask, but I would like an answer. If a car I know of has a map be it Revo, AMD or APR etc is it possible if I have the flashing cable and software to take a reading of the mapped ecu, could I then (if ecu numbers etc match up), flash that file onto my own car and it work?

I think that the map is security coded to just one car - the original.

Not that I know much about these as I've only just started to research them.

No, the map is for that car's ECU.

Nope and you won't even be able to read revo as they lock them

Question answered - locked.
