The Dance radio has finally given up on reception. I gather I need to replace the head unit. Mine is the 07 plate Roomster 2 with the aerial at the roof front. Has anyone any words of wisdom/guidelines as to sourcing a new unit - are there any upgrades, etc?

I was wondering about a Shark Fin replacement: again any thoughts or comments.

Finally, I have accessed the interior fitting, the swap over doesn't look too difficult. The only query is that there does not appear to be a great deal of 'slack' in the wiring. Again, any comment about fitting would be welcomed.

The only thing I would say is I've known very similar aerials to the one on the roomy give up after a few years. Mine was on a 2002 Audi but looked just the same. So it maybe that. It was water getting into the electronics that killed it.
