front passenger window is not lowering or rasieng anymore, can still hear the motor turning allmost like it is chewing a cable or some sort, anyone have any ideas as to what i may need to replace to get it working again ( lots of snow and rain at the moment and no garage to work in so need parts to fix not to strip then see what i need)

The motor is literally chewing on the cable. Search on ebay for window repair kits

I would advise that you only replace the part you need too, with the repair kits. I replaced the whole lot last time, and the cable end pulled out of the main plastic clip after only a couple of months.

A complete regulator assembly was only about £54 inc. VAT from TPS though, which I eventually was forced to fit. If you've got nowhere to work in, I cannot recommend highly enough that you do this, since the repair kits take a fair bit of farting about and struggling with, first time round.
