It's a 1999 (S) Mazda MX5 1.8s, has just over 71k on the clock and Tax'd til May 2013 and MOT'd until August 2013. Last MOT was done Aug 12 and had one advisory - 'Under-trays fitted obscures some underside components'. Which I'm sure is the purpose of an undertray. Otherwise it sailed through no problem, for a 13 year old car. I serviced the car last weekend (08-Dec-12) myself which included an Oil Change, changed the spark plugs, oil filter and air filter. I've also had the rear calipers, disks and pads replaced on the rear this week by a proffesional mechanic. Car runs really well, and I absolutely love driving it. Only issue I have with the car is the fact there is some rust patches on one of the arches. One of the previous owners has had a go at repairing it and done an awful job. I was planning to get the whole car sorted and resprayed but I've not had the time. It's currently fitted on V-Maxx adjustable suspension and also have the standard suspension in the garage should you wish to put back to standard. These were fitted in October at a garage professionally. Have some service history with the car, but like me, most of the servicing has been done by the previous owner. Which means no stamp in the book, which doesn't matter with this age of car anyway.

Have just fitted a hardtop to the car for the winter, as this is my only car for now. Has the soft top too. I may keep the hardtop but depends on the deal. Wheels are in good condition as are the tyres. 4 x Michelins. Private plate is on the car, but I'm not too fussed about it. Car also has Limited Slip Differential and a Nardi Steering wheel.

As said, I'm not desperate to sell it, I just fancy another fun car which is a little bit more practical. I do a lot of miles up and down the motorway as I have family down south. I can afford to run a fast petrol just want something with a bit more space to carry luggage. Something like a Golf, 3 Series or something bigger than the Mazda (Not hard) but still with a decent sized engine.

Any questions - fire away. I'm here all through Christmas but will be away for New year. Offers and swaps welcome.

Thanks for looking. I have one or two pictures at the moment, but I'll get some decent ones at the weekend with a lot more detail. It's locked up in the garage, dark and cold so no chance at the moment lol.

Price?

Pair of spec's? About £10 from Boots. :)

1350

I always try and gues the asking price on these ad's.

I thought, mmmmmm, sounds like about £1500-£1800 worth to me that.

Someone could have a very nice crissy prezzie I reckon.

Lovely motors they are.

GLWTS.

Thanks Sharkrider -

Yes Mr Ree/Matt, £1350ono.

I'm pricing it realistically as it is winter and these don't appeal to people this time of year.

Inclusive hardtop should elay (sp) fears of getting dripped upon.

I'd luv it, but I'd luv to own many cars put up for sale on here tbh.

If the top and doors are adjusted right it won't leak even with just the soft-top. In 14 years of owning one and lost of all-weather use I've never needed one...

Hardtop has no issues, only recently fitted that.

The soft top is still on the car just folded down, never leaks unless you put a pressure washer to a certain part above the window. But like you say I may just need to adjust it properly.
