Skoda SIS and Nokia 2630 mobile connection

Featured Replies

Skoda Superb Elegance V6 3.6 Estate Petrol

Above mobile (Nokia 2630) connection to car has previously been working fine.

I am now getting an SIS messaage "Enter Code" which varies but always shows 4 numbers in sequence e.g 2222 3333 4444

5555.

I enter these into the Nokia mobile but the only option then is to give a name and send.

I cannot get any further.

Does anyone have a solution to get the car and the phone compatable.

How old is the car?

If it's before may 2010 then you need an Remote Sim Access Protocol (rSAP) compatible phone. (See sticky thread at top of Superb 2 forum for more info)

If it's after may 2010, it should connect any Bluetooth phone.

Reg. March 2011.

Phone is Skoda approved and has worked perfectly until this code request.

As I said, I enter the sequence of 4 numbers into the phone but cannot find a way to proceed further..

phone of course works perfectly out of car.

I enter these into the Nokia mobile but the only option then is to give a name and send.

I cannot get any further.

Are you pressing 'send'?

Are you simply pressing the numbers on your Nokia, or is there a box in which to enter them? If the former, then your mobile is not in pairing mode, or is not discoverable. Connectivity menu, Bluetooth option, make discoverable, then pair. Alternatively, find the Columbus by searching from the Nokia.
