So the clutch is slipping terribly and the DMF is rattling like a drug addict, the DMF was like that when we got it but Skoda flat out refused to change it, oh but they did replace needles and bearings in the gearbox and replace the clutch release bearing!!

Ouch, you've spent some serious money on your vRS Grizzle!

they prices for clutches are a fu**ing joke. How the hell do they get to that price for a clutch kit is beyond me. i do feel for ya Grizzle.

It's the flywheel too in that price (by the look the Awesome one is just for 1.9tdi and 1.8T) but I agree that it's a total **** take, the price of a SMF setup for the 2.0TDi. I wouldn't pay it out of principal as the SMF for the 1.9 is way cheaper so the companies must be just profiteering.

Didn't realise that the OP is a petrol. :drunk:

I have the Sachs and its awesome. Only slightly heavier than OEM. Thoroughly recommend it.

This is the sort of feed back i'm looking for where did you get it from??

Purchased from JKM performance. Brilliant customer service and very fast delivery. I needed a new clutch when I went to stage 2. The original began to slip immediately. The Sachs cured all the issues.

Try cg motorsport top quality kits and I've always found them very well priced

If they don't list an option on there web then give them a bell

Pete.
