Last winter my Superb had to have Breakdown attend twice due to the battery. Skoda Breakdown couldn't print error message as too cold for the device. Left with local dealer whose conclusion was "too many short trips". This winter, failed to start again: Skoda breakdown this time confirmed faulty battery (2yrs old) as would only charge at 20 amps. Conclusion: rubbish battery, replaced under warranty

loads of recent posts re: poor battery - inc me. I failed last year - i changed this year, bought it myself, wasn't worth the hassle with Skoda again!
