Hi Im going to retrofit a mdi in my octavia I want to put it in the glove and want to no when I take the glove out can I can reach the wires in the back of the radio or do I have to take the radio out and if I disconnects them do I have to put the code in when I connect it back up ?

you will have to take the radio out

There is not much room behind the radio

Do I need the code ?

The code for the Columbus is stored in the car itself and not just the radio so you should not need the code

Hi i installed the mdi kit but I didn't disconnect the battery and unplugged the passenger airbag cut off switch when I plugged it in the airbag is coming up with a faults now do I need to plug a vag lead in to reset it or is there another way.
