Hi, anyone know much for a full respray on the Fabias?

How good a re-spray.

Change of colour, door jams and shut lines etc etc. ??

Simple prepare & fresh same colour and excellent finish??

Mates rates or Top professional job.??

Glass in or out ?

Any bodywork repairs to do or just de-wax, prepare, paint, polish.?

It is, how long is a piece of string?

Would anyone consider a colour change on a one colour special edition ?

basically the front is hammerd with stone chips and theres a few scratches on diffrent panels of bodywork, i just want the same factory colour so it looks as it's just come out the showroom.

You had best get quotes locally from people that have good reputations.

If you want to travel a little, leave the car then collect again for a First Class finish,

A ball park figure for a decent full respray well you wont see much change out of £2000 IMHO.

You may find a good local paint shop who will do cheaper but you should think around those figures as most of the cost is in the prep.

All the exterior trims and lights need to come off not to mention door handles and seals so it depends how good a respray you want.

Or you could just get the front end done much cheaper the last car I had the front repainted on cost me £300 but that was a few years ago.

£1k in my opinion,i know a great painter done loads of paint in the past for me,rottern merc vans in metallic done for that!!

i would just get the front end done, maybe could have a go at polishing the scratches out if they arent too deep?
