Front windscreen wash broke?

Hello there everyone, today was out in the car and discovered that the front windscreen wash isn't working so went back home and checked all the fuses still no luck the rear window wash was working but the hose has came off so just spays wash every where in the boot, went down too my garage (seen my old octy while going there) and said the stalk was broke and since I'm getting rid of the car next month anyways and replacing it with a superb just decided to swap the electrics over so when I Press the stalk to activate the rear wash it turns the front one's on anyone else have probs with the front window wash
