It is a lot of money for a tube, you'd pay half that at an exhaust place lol

Just do it mate i will b on wendesday i think going to make afew calls first

Yeah mines mapped for that etc so you have the 0 silencer system and the cat? And it aint 2 loud?

That's correct mate. It's barely louder than standard at a cruise from inside the car - and I mean barely! I do motorway miles to work every morning. Sounds much nicer when booting it, and I've been told by mates that it sounds really nice from the outside.

To be fair mate I thought the system was a bargain! Can't remember exactly, but around £200 delivered to my door for the cat back with zero silencers.

will the noise sound any better if i cut the cat out and weld a peice of straight pipe in its place?

I cant believe nobody on here has the full system with no cat or silencers at all somebody out there has to be able to help me make me mind up lol

I had it, couldn't live with it. Got dry bummed by piper for over £200 for a silencer section after 1 week

What was the problem with it like buddy?

Hated the sound at idle, it sounded broken. Like someone blowing down a hollow pipe - echoey. We think it's down to the manifold shape on the pd turbos. It pigeon noised like mad, properly loud and that novelty soon wore off.

Cruising at 70 it was quiet mind, put your foot down and it was mad, you could hear it barking out the back as it spat spot everywhere lol.

For a daily commuter I didn't get on with it at all and I'm not that fussy really, I quite enjoyed the meg barking and popping bangin an dumping but just didn't like the piper.

With the silencer in it was great, loved it! Workmanship was top class too.

Thanks buddy was it realy that bad? Was it loud all the time or just under boost?

It's all personal mate I guess.

It got kinda annoying getting funny looks and everyone thinking its broken when parking etc lol

Personally I'd recommend a 1 silencer decat, best of both worlds

I have mine de catted n back box but it aint loud enough so want way more bark :)

I have a Piper cat back with 0 silencers and a 3 inch downpipe/decat. as above it isn't quiet on idle but alright cruising at 60-70mph on the motorway, mine doesn't seem make any kind of pigeon noise but I don't have the standard turbo or manifold.

it's loud on full throttle/boost but kind of not that diesely - I quite like how it sounds flat out and couldn't give a toss about what random strangers might think about how it sounds :)

no, I'm not - a hybrid turbo uses the same manifold as a standard turbo because they are one piece. I don't have a video as the cam/follower has failed

Oh buga for u mate what turbo set up u runing just out off interest? Oh wel mite just order it anyways lol

To be honest this is why I decided against a Piper 0 silencer system, couldn't risk entertaining the daft owl pigeon noise.

And also I didn't like the piper being stamped into the top of the tailpipes, spoils the look for me.

And I got the Milltek system at a good price, and it's not too loud. I'm a bit busy now so will probaly be on near the end of the month in Jan, can't wait

Ye wel for £160 u mite as well buy the full piper

£160 is for the down pipe made and fitted mate, the piper down pipe is £180 odd then I've got to find time to fit it. I've already got a mufflerectomy, there isn't much more pipe to go in between the down pipe and mufflerectomy so may aswell keep it all custom :)

I'm not 100% on what to do yet though apparently the company I work for is having some money issues :/
