New octavia vrs tdi owner

Featured Replies

Hi all, just joined the forum as I have today bought a 2012 Octavia vrs tdi. It's a March 2012 car in white. Looking to get the wheels and grille surround done in gloss black shortly. I pick the car up next week.

I've previously owned a Seat Leon fr. With the 170 engine which I loved as well as an impreza. I much prefer the octavia though as its a compromise between the two, I think.

Going to post a question in the relevant section about scotch guarding the interior.

Welcome to the forum. interesting to hear your thoughts on the Octy vs Leon & scubby- are you refering to size, comfort & practicality etc?

cheers

Ade

In regards to the difference between the scooby and the octavia The octavia is far more comfortable, feels much better build quality and more practical. With a scooby you basically pay for the engine.

The Leon was a great car, the octavia is just a little more practical as I have 2 kids which I'd didn't have when I had the Leon.

Collecting it on Monday. Already ordered an autoglym valet set to sort it out and get it nice and protected and super shiney. Can't wait to leave it in the work car park and see what the boys think.

Hi and welcome aboard.

I don't think bluetooth was standard, you may be able to find a car with a factory fit bluetooth in it already.
