hi i have a skoda octavia tdi 51 reg the interior light does not come on when u open the drivers door and the same side door on rear and the light does not come on on dash on then 2 doors to say the door open , any ideas . plus ever since i owned the car the light has never worked ,changed bulb and checked fuses

Probably the microswitches in the doors, common problem, plenty of information about replacing them on here.

Although it could be a wiring problem if water has got into something it shouldn't have.
