Turbo from a 225 Audi for a VRS

Featured Replies

Would the turbo from a TT 225 for straight onto the VRS engine, or does it need some other modifications?

Many thanks.

Im doing the K04 conversion myself, you will need

K04 023 turbo

K04 manifold

386cc injectors(fromm std 225)

Oil and coolant feeds

3" MAF

K04 turbo inlet hose

EGT sensor if you are going to retrofit

ECU from 225 car(or custom map if not fitting EGT sensor)

Modified loom for EGT

Gaskets etc

Custom downpipe or relentless one with modification

It is a big job but with 3" DP and 3" TIP 275-280BHP is possible if you have a FMIC, good intake and a decent map.

Hope this helps mate

That sounds far easier reading the above, how much are you looking at for a Hybrid?

700 for hybrid

Needs

3 inch maf

But this is if you already run front mount decent exhaust etc etc

Would the K04 innards in a K03 work?

Would the K04 innards in a K03 work?

That is effectively what a Hybrid is. That is why they are called Hybrids as they have a combination of some parts of the K03s and some part of either a KO4 or other variant.

Hybrids all the way.

Easier and better power gains.

From whatnive heard and read the ko4 conversion is never as good on the auq enngine as it is on the bam.

Plus the hybrids have bigger internals than the ko4. I have a cr turbos hybrid with pritty much everything. Its got rs6 internals.

Iwhen i was after getting one they were £850 ish for your own turbo to be rebuilt but then they have you as no exhaust housing is not cracked so they add more on for another.
