Out for a day trip to Wales with the wife today, driving home between betws y coed and llangollen came up behind the jag. Looked stunning.

Both sat behind a white van jag over takes, nothing coming I follow thought the vrs had cut out left for dead :-) and noise !

That machine is just as fast as a M5. I would love the 3ltr diesel never mind the R model.

Normally loads of XFr's on the M40 that get off a gaydon so must be Jag employees lucky b******s. The oiler is awesome too apparently ...something like 0-60 in just over 6 seconds i'm told by 1 owner, though tyres are 250 each..... ouch, so guess the ones on this beast will be even more. I recon these (normal XFs & R) will become the 'new' Audi with mr average middle manager driving these like tw*ts if the way I've seen them being driven is anything to go by.

Had a low milage older shape XK traded in a couple of years ago at work and it was cheap as chips, would have bought it just for the V8, but don't think i could have afford to run it

And yes they are fast. Same engine as the F-Type I have as my project car at the moment except that's a fair whack lighter.
