Hello, I have recently taken delivery of a second hand Skoda Octavia 1.9TDi on a 54 plate.

I'm not a petrol head and haven't really looked after any of my cars, but i'm a dad now and need to keep this one in good nick, with a 3yr old and another on the way.

The car has a few little things that need doing, like new seat covers and desperately needs a new stereo as the stock one doesn't have an Aux input. and there are no rear speakers. I am planning to take the car to Road Radio but if there are any of you who can suggest a cheaper way of doing it myself i'd be very grateful.

I'd also like advice on getting a spare key, finding out if my car is supposed to have RCL and the fob is missing and if it isn't, how easy it would be to retrofit RCL.

Also if there are any easy tweeks anyone would suggest to make my model more luxurious i'd appreciate all and any imput!

Oh yeah, also the rear Wiper doesn't work, are there any known issues with the motors?

Have you check the fuse to the wiper.

Hi, yes i think i have, i had a look in the fuse box and there are very few fuses, i only saw one with a picture of a wiper on it and it looked fine, i'll have another look though.
