Sorry if this has been asked already but does anyone know what colour the Alloy Wheels are on a Monte Carlo ? I can mix my own paints but before i go through all different shades of grey (no i dont mean the book) i thought someone might know on here ? a colour or colour code is fine

That link on my Paint system is showing Skoda LF7S Granit-Met, will mix a tiny amount over the weekend and see how it looks Thanks Stu

I used anthracite grey metallic to repair two of my wheels. A pretty good match.

I had to do a slight touch up on one of my wheels and F7S Dark Grey is an exact match.

:'( to see the Monte's been in the wars, with a lump like that missing is the suspension OK :wonder:

Hope you can get her sorted quickly and back on the road, oh did you get their reg but maybe difficult to prove avoiding action :wonder:

I have 4 spare vrs wheels might be of use to you lol

And here's the kicker;

1. Do as you did, you foot the bill for repair

2. Crash into them/them into you as they failed to control their car, insurance pays out and you should not be out of pocket

Obviously the right think to do is number 1, but it is very frustrating.

Oh, and please don't think i advocate number 2, because i do not, but bloody annoying for AdamJMK.

If you have the broken piece, some superglue will do nicely...

On a serious note, that was very unfortunate. Those few seconds when braking to a stop must have been agonising. At any rate, you did well to avoid a crash, on those treacherous conditions.

A new wheel is about £135

You could have had my 4 vrs alloys for not a lot more than that...

Not much left holding the tyre in place there :/

Fustrating set of events :( the main reason i dont enjoy these snowy conditions.
