Plasma boost gauge and custom "A" pillar mount

Featured Replies

Plasma boost gauge in BAR. Lights up blue and red as seen in pics. Comes with boost sensor which i had hidden under the scuttle panel. Sensor is then wired to the guage. Also included is a custom "A" pillar mount, not that pretty close up but does the job and looks ok when fitted. Will throw in some red vac hose that i removed with the gauge.

What is envolved in fitting one of these mate?

Not much different to a mechanical boost gauge mate. I had the boost sensor under the scuttle panel, ran the vac hose from the FPR to the sensor. The sensor needs a 12v feed and gauge needs 12v feed. There is a signal wire from the sensor to the gauge, I ran this with the 12v feed taken from the headlight switch, right through to the boost sensor and spur off to the gauge. Took me an hour tops. Once you have got wires through the bulkhead its easy peasy

Thanks ill have think, if our new born sleeps for more than 1 hour at a time I might get to fit it
