Going back on topic re MPG. I find the first half of the tank of fuel, if it's accurate seems to get me more MPG than the last half of fuel, if you follow. In other words it seems to go down quicker after you have past the half full marker.

Not restricted to the Citigo this either, I noticed this happened in my last diesel car. And the gauge hardly moves in the first 60-70 miles when starting with a full tank.
