Citigo 2D/3D build your own additional option

Featured Replies

I had been playing with the 2D/3D build your own Citigo confgurator on the Skoda UK site today.

I noticed under optional equipment section 020. 'Functionality' there was an option for a luggage compartment cover with luggage nets? Yet the interior equipment list states all versions come with the luggage compartment cover? £50 seems expensive for two luggage nets when you can get them for £20 as accessories?

I wondered what this was all about too.

It is not just a case of fitting the nets to hooks in the car. You have to remove both boot side panels and cut a hole in them. Luckily they now have the hole in the metalwork so no need to drill and file square. It took me an hour to fit my nets. I don't know why they don't just fit the two extra hooks and be done with it?

I had more pictures but can't get them to upload.

The hidden screw that need removing before you can get the side off?

Just fitted hooks to my Citigo. Didn't need to remove panels. Eased them away, stuck template in cavity and marked with hot spike. Cut from outside, simples. 20 mins, looks great.
