i made a video of a short drive inside my monte. its the 1.2 tsi 105 just in case anyones considering buying one and wants to know how it performs etc...

i wansn't necessarily referring to just accleration, more what its like at speed, what revs it does compared to the gear its in etc,

either way when i was looking to buy my monte this was the sort of thing i was looking for on youtube and it didnt really exist so hopefully im helping others who were in the same situation as me.

I found it interesting.

I would be no use as a passenger with Andy.

I was watching all the time to see if he ever used 2 hands on the steering wheel,

and watching for the use of indicators, which there is, but mirrors indicators.! not much of that going on.

If Andy was ever to have to resit a driving test he would have to relearn so much. JMO.

(probably why i try never to be a passenger with any driver.)

Im not a very good passenger either but if i reallt wanted to i could drive "properly"

Not a criticism as such, but it was recently pointed out to me the dangers of arms crossing the wheel. with modern cars.

I passed my test long before air-bags!

Your right fore-arm spends a lot of time over the airbag area.

Consequences following deployment could be fatal.

Just saying......

As a personal thing,

i think if i see an accident coming or potential accident my hands would be firmly steering the car in one direction or another before the Air Bag deploys.

If its a totally unexpected big prang, then my hands could be any place at that particular point in time.

Possibly eating a pie or the likes.
