Good wireless IP cameras needed

Featured Replies

Apart from Linksys, 3com and axis are there are other makes of wireless cameras out there within the 100 - 250 price range ?

I am going to start my own business but I require robust kit to get it going.

Ivan,

I guess you need it now....however if you're prepared to wait a little while I'm currently testing a Panasonic IP camera....very simple to set up, has remote access and even has built in VoIP.

Quite impressed.

Here's a spec:

Panasonic HCM331

Not sure on cost though.

p.s Doh! It's not wirless but add a wireless ethernet bridge and you're sorted.

No not in a rush TBH but I need a very robust camera that can stay on 24/7. Let me know how the testing goes bud.

Ad, quick question this is a motorrised one ? It does look motorised. Also the ability to detect motion is done via an external sensor, I am looking at one that is built in or have I missread it ?

I guess it's motorised as you can control what it looks at remotely over the internet. However I have no idea if it can detect motion.

Will have a check for ya.
