VRS Suspension

Featured Replies

I'm wondering are there any differences between suspension of Fabia VRS and the ordinary Fabia?

Cheers :orb_bounc

Yep, it 25mm lower (or is it 15mm)... It is different...

15mm lower.

Yep it's "sportier" and 15mm lower with stiffer springs. It also has to cope with a heavier nose weight over the standard Fabia.

Front springs are significantly uprated to cope with the extra weight of the PD TDI engine in the vRS. Dampers are also uprated as I recall...

Thanks guys :)

cheers

In case you're thinking of changing stuff about - main thing is that extra weight. The PD130 engine is pretty heavy :D

OK than I can't instal VRS suspension on my Fabia 1.4 16V! What can I do to make my fabia lower (except to drive with my fatest friends  )

Cheers :orb_bounc

You can get lowering springs for the 1.4 16V. Eibach make a set.

lop a coil or three off the spring that will lower it and the handling will be so much better :D

PS i dont mean this at all!!! ;)

Sod that I wouldn't bother, just fill your car foot wells with concrete ;)

thats a point does the fabia have the sandbags in the front footwells like the golf vr6 did ??
